How do I design a set?

Open the designer, pick a size, then set the face, rim, colours and core. The 3D view updates as you change each choice. Nothing is final until you add the set to your bag.

How many colours can one chip use?

Up to three filament colours per chip. The printer holds four spools at once and one slot stays free for spool changes.

Question 3

Can I add my own logo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You upload it, confirm that you hold the rights to it, and the designer places it on the chip. Details thinner than 0.8 mm are thickened or lost in printing, and the designer warns you when that happens.

What does the printability check do?

It checks the design against what the printer can make, for example skins that are too thin over a core. Problems are listed with a link to the control that fixes them. A design with a blocking problem cannot be added to the bag.

Can I save and share a design?

Yes. Sign in to save designs to your account. A saved design can be made public, which gives it a link anyone can open and order from.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. Stripe processes the payment. Further local methods appear at checkout when we have switched them on.

How does Apple Pay work here?

On a compatible iPhone, iPad or Mac with Safari, an Apple Pay button appears in the bag and on public design pages. You confirm with Face ID or Touch ID. Your shipping address and contact details come from Apple Pay, so you skip the forms. We never see your card number.

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can check out as a guest. To look up a guest order later, enter your email address and the six-digit code we send you.

Do the prices include VAT?

Yes. Prices are shown including VAT. Shipping is added at checkout once we know the destination.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Accepted Answer

Only before printing starts. Write to us as soon as you can with the order number. Once a set is on the printer it is made, and it cannot be cancelled.

How long does an order take?

Every set is printed to order, so the time depends on the design and on what is already in the queue. The estimated ship date is shown before you pay and again in your confirmation. A rush option shortens production time for a surcharge shown in the bag.

Where do you ship?

To Austria, Hungary and the rest of the EU, and to the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway. Rates for each destination are on the shipping page.

What does shipping cost?

It depends on the destination. The exact amount is shown in the bag and at checkout before you pay. Orders above a set value ship free, and that value is shown in the bag.

Can I track my order?

Yes. When your set ships you get the carrier and a tracking number by email. Each order also has a status page, and a tracking link you can share without signing in.

Where are the chips made?

In our workshop, on a Bambu Lab P2S with a four-spool AMS. The material is PLA. The workshop is small, and that is why every order is made to order.

How do I clean the chips?

Wipe them with a damp cloth and let them dry. Do not put them in a dishwasher.

How warm can they get?

Accepted Answer

Keep them below 50 °C. PLA softens with heat, so do not leave a set in a parked car, on a radiator or in direct summer sun.

Will the chips show wear, and can I see layer lines?

Yes to both. A printed chip is built from 0.2 mm layers, and you can see and feel them on the rim. The surface will pick up scuffs with use, as any plastic chip does.

Can I send a set back if I change my mind?

No. Under EU consumer law the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specification. Every set we sell is printed to order, so it does not apply here. Please check the design carefully before you pay. The returns page has the details.

Question 20

What if my set is defective?

Accepted Answer

Defects are covered. The statutory warranty applies, which is two years in the EU. Write to us with the order number and photos, and we will repair, replace or refund, as the law provides.

What if it arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

Write to us as soon as you open the parcel. Send photos of the chips and of the packaging. Damage in transit is a defect on delivery, and we will put it right.
