02 — Specs

Every number, in one place.

Millimetres, grams and degrees Celsius. Weights are for a finished chip and are approximate, because a printed part is not a machined one.

01Chip

Diameter: 39 / 40 / 43 mm; 40 mm is the default.
Thickness: 3.3 / 3.4 / 3.5 mm; 3.4 mm is the default.
Tolerance: ± 0.3 mm; On diameter and thickness. Normal for printed parts.
Layer height: 0.2 mm; Layer lines are visible on the rim.
Colours per chip: up to 3; Four spools in the printer, one kept free.

02Core and weight

No core: ≈ 5 g; Lighter, and the lowest price.
Standard core: ≈ 10.3 g; Pocket Ø25.2 × 1.8 mm, centred. Metal disc.
Heavy core: ≈ 11.5 g; Pocket Ø27.8 × 2.0 mm, centred. Metal disc.
Skin over a core: ≥ 0.6 mm; The material above and below the pocket.

03Inlay

Face inlay depth: 0.4 mm; Two print layers, flush with the surface.
Rim inlay depth: 0.6 – 1.5 mm; Measured radially. Default 1.0 mm.
Thinnest detail: 0.8 mm; Thinner strokes in a logo are thickened or lost.

04Material and care

Material: PLA; A plant-based thermoplastic. Density 1.24 g/cm³.
Keep below: 50 °C; Not in a hot car, not on a radiator.
Dishwasher: not safe; Wipe with a damp cloth.
Printer: Bambu Lab P2S; With AMS, four spool slots.
